This is a Review on Spyro:2 Ripto's Rage based on a 1 to ten scale
1 being the worst and ten being the best and everything in between.
Spyro:2 Ripto's Rage was my favorite Spyro game ever. Probably because
it was the first one I ever played. But it still was really fun.
Graphics: 9
I thought this
games graphics were pretty good. The characters were pretty detailed and their
mouths moved. The worlds were very detailed down to the last tree. Cutscenes were also very good
There were some things that could have been better
but i think i'm going to give it and 9 for good graphics.
Music/Sound: 9
The music and sound were very good in this game. The music changed
for every world you went into you heard the sounds when you hit a wall or
used your fire. The enemies made noises and landed with thud when you charged or flamed them
I didn't think the music was very repetitive unless you stayed
in that world for a while. I didn't give it a 10 because the music
in Magma Cone was extreamly annoying. Other than that it was very good.
Gameplay: 8
The Gameplay was great. You could do sidequests for orbs(though you don't
need every orb unless your aiming to get 100%. Though some of them
can be annoying and difficult. Most of the puzzles were fun
and challenging(well some where just plain easy but still fun). One of my
favorite parts that suprised me was when versing Gulp you could hit
Ripto in the beggining with a rocket!
Control: 8.5
The controls were great! You could move every way even spin in circles!
This game deserves a 8.5 for controls.
Difficulty:

This game has plenty of difficult
tasks and you have to do all of them in order to beat the game and
get 100%. Some parts of this game can be very challenging. Like versing
Ripto and finding every orb and every last gem.(though you dont have
to find every last gem and orb unless you want to get 100%.)
Frustration: 4
This game can be very frustrating sometimes but not alot. It's only
frustrating when you get very fair and die and have to start all over again
(though thats why they have Zoe.) It's also frustrating when you
die when you're just about to beat a boss. Also when you try to complete a hard task.
Replay Value:7.5
Spyro 2 is a great game that you can play over and over and still enjoy
it(if you liked it the first time that is)though it's always funnest
the first time.
Overall: 10
Spyro 2 is a great game that deserves a ten. It is
fun and has great cutscenes. The characters are creative and
unique. It's a great game.
